THOMASTON (July 8): Local author Sandra Olson has released another medical thriller, available in both soft- and hard-cover editions.
The book, “Rebirth,” is available via Xlibris at Xlibris.com.
Young Elizabeth Franklin is dying of a rare genetic brain disorder. Her father, Dr. David Franklin, has the money and medical knowledge needed to save her, and the life of an innocent infant hangs in the balance as one nurse struggles to prevent Dr. Franklin from killing to save his daughter.
Olson worked as a registered nurse in Texas, Arkansas and Maine hospitals in OB and NICU units, caring for new mothers and babies. For a change of pace, she taught nursing school for two years and worked in a women’s correctional facility in Gatesville, Texas. After raising three children, she and her husband now enjoy playing with their seven grandchildren. She currently is working on another novel.
