Tips, guides, and articles about self-publishing and print-on-demand.
What is Self-Publishing?
A publishing project wherein an author pays for the costs of manufacturing and selling his or her own book and retains all money from the book’s sale. This is a risky venture but one that can be immensely profitable (especially when combined with an author’s speaking engagements or imaginative marketing techniques). In addition, if successful, self-publication can lead to distribution or publication by a commercial publisher.

What is print-on-demand publishing?
Print-on-demand means exactly what it implies: printing books as they are ordered. POD publishers use modern technology to store and print your book in electronic form, removing the need for a warehouse and large print runs. This method reduces two of the greatest costs in publishing, allowing more authors to publish and to have their books remain in print forever.
